The Golden Arrow is our most compact double room but like all well-designed spaces, it pays attention to detail and doesn’t compromise on style or comfort. The authentic steam train luggage racks and William Morris wallpaper pays homage to the building’s Victorian heritage and the warming golden colours give the room an elegant glow.

The Golden Arrow was a luxury Boat Train. It originally just connected Paris and Calais, but in 1929 the Southern Railway introduced the equivalent between London Victoria and Dover, while simultaneously launching a new first-class only ship, the Canterbury, for the ferry crossing.
